Welcome to your central hub for your Group. Here you will find everything you will need to lead your group successfully. Each week is broken up below. We’ve included the video for each week, if you are hosting at the church, they are loaded onto the tvs. If you need anything, please reach out. We are so grateful for your heart for the church and for helping others discover who Jesus is.
Before you launch your Group, please review pgs. 101-106 in your book. There is great advice here on how to best lead a group like this one.
To access the videos while at the church, follow the examples below
Week 1: Good or God?
“Is Jesus really who he says he is? Is he really the most important person in history? Someone who deserves our respect and admiration- or is he more than that? Is he someone who deserves our worship? Who is Jesus?” - Louie Giglio
During this class You will:
Watch the Video #1 and work through the pages 12-20 in your book.
Ensure everyone has a book. If someone needs one, please let us know ASAP.
Week 2: Friend or Foe?
“When we consider who Jesus is, we wonder how he will view us. Is he going to be for us or against us? Is he going to be mad at us or merciful toward us? Is he going to welcome us or condemn us? is he doina to love us, or is he going to hate us? Is Jesus our friend or our foe?” - Louie Giglio
During this class you will:
Review any feedback from the “Between Sessions” section from last week.
Watch Video #2 and work through pages 30-38.
Week 3: King or Pawn?
“I can't imagine a worse scenario than Jesus, God in human flesh, being tag-teamed by power plays until he's crushed to death on a Roman cross. Was he King of the Jews? Or a pawn in a cosmic chess game of history?” - Louie Giglio
During this class You will:
Review any feedback from the “Between Sessions” section from last week.
Watch Video #3 and work through pages 48-56.
Week 4: A Way or the Way?
"Truth is narrow, but the gospel is wide. The way to salvation through Jesus may be narrow, but the invitation of Jesus is wide. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. The gospel is available to anyone today.” - Louie Giglio
During this class You will:
Review any feedback from the “Between Sessions” section from last week.
Watch Video #4 and work through pages 66-74.
Week 5: The Lion or the Lamb?
“The Bible refers to Jesus as both the Lion of Judah and the Lamb of God. Those two animals don't usually get along. So how can he be both? How can Christ be so powerful and yet so gentle? So fierce and so compassionate? And if Jesus is both lion and lamb, what difference does it make?” - Louie Giglio
During this class You will:
Review any feedback from the “Between Sessions” section from last week.
Watch Video #5 and work through pages 84-92.
