2.5 - Living Like You Know the Ending

Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:1-17

Reflection: Knowing the ending changes how you live in the middle. Think about watching a movie for the second time. The difficult scenes still affect you, but they no longer leave you wondering who wins. Revelation gives believers that same confidence. You already know the ending of God's story. Jesus wins. Death loses. Evil ends. That certainty doesn't remove today's struggles, but it transforms how you face them. You forgive because reconciliation belongs to God's future. You keep hoping because despair isn't the last chapter. You continue serving because love always outlasts selfishness. Your confidence isn't built on optimism. It's built on the resurrection of Jesus and the promise that His Kingdom is coming in fullness. Every faithful decision you make today is rooted in tomorrow's certainty. You don't ignore suffering. You simply refuse to let suffering become the loudest voice in your story because Jesus already has the final word forever.

Application Question:
What decision would you make differently today if you truly lived with the confidence that you already know how God's story ends?

Weekend Reflection

This week you've been reminded that heaven isn't simply a destination waiting for you. It is the future that is already shaping how you live today. As you gather with your church this weekend, ask God to help your life become a clearer preview of the Kingdom that is coming.
