3.5 - The Veil Is Still Torn

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 4:14-16

Reflection:
The resurrection wasn’t simply proof that Jesus won. It means your High Priest is still alive today. Under the old covenant, the high priest entered God’s presence once each year, then returned to repeat the process again. Jesus entered once for all, and because He conquered death, He never has to be replaced. He still welcomes you into the Father’s presence. Too many Christians live as though the veil is hanging again. They pray timidly. They assume God is disappointed. They keep trying to earn what Jesus already purchased. But the cross says the barrier is gone. The resurrection says it remains gone because your Savior is alive. You don’t approach God because you’ve had a perfect week. You come because Jesus is perfect. His finished work has become your welcome. Walk into today with confidence, not because of who you are, but because of who stands before the Father on your behalf always.

Application Question:
What would change about your prayers this week if you truly believed you were already welcomed into God’s presence through Jesus?

Weekend Reflection:
This week you’ve been reminded that the cross was never simply about getting you into heaven someday. It was about bringing you back into relationship with God today. As you gather with your church this weekend, worship with confidence, remembering that the veil is torn, the tomb is empty, and your High Priest is still alive.
