1.1 - Monday: The God Before Everything

Scripture Reading:Genesis 1:1-5

Reflection:
Before anything existed, God already was. That simple truth changes more than you might realize. Your life often feels driven by deadlines, unexpected problems, and constant uncertainty. Everything around you seems temporary. Yet before any of those things arrived, God was already present. He wasn’t surprised by today’s challenges or tomorrow’s questions. He isn’t reacting to your circumstances as they unfold. He has always been who He is. That means your security isn’t found in understanding everything. It rests in knowing the One who stands outside of time itself. You don’t have to carry the weight of holding your world together because you never were the One holding it in the first place. The God who created galaxies has not overlooked your life. He knows your story from beginning to end. Today, let awe replace anxiety. Allow yourself to remember that your biggest problem is still smaller than your eternal Creator.
