2.2 - The God Who Dwells With Us

Scripture Reading: John 1:14-18

Reflection: One word quietly connects the whole story of Scripture: dwell. In Jesus, God came to dwell among us. In Revelation, God will dwell with us forever. Heaven is beautiful because God is there. That may sound obvious, but it's easy to become more fascinated with streets of gold than with the presence of God Himself. The greatest promise of eternity isn't a place without pain. It's life with the One who loves you completely. Even now, God is preparing your heart for that future by inviting you into His presence today. Every moment you pause to pray, every time you open His Word, every quiet reminder that He is near becomes a small preview of what is coming. Heaven is not about finally meeting a stranger. It is about living forever with the Savior you have been learning to know all along. That relationship begins today, not someday after you die.

Application Question:
How could you intentionally make space today to enjoy God's presence instead of simply asking Him for His help?
