2.3 - What Sin Broke, God Restores

Scripture Reading: Romans 8:18-25

Reflection: Sometimes it feels like everything around you is breaking. Relationships fracture. Bodies grow weak. Creation itself groans under the weight of sin. Paul says that's exactly what's happening. But he also says creation is waiting with hope because God has not forgotten His world. The same God who is restoring your heart is one day going to restore all creation. That means your longing for things to be made right isn't wishful thinking. It's part of how God designed you. You were created for wholeness. Every ache you feel points toward the day when God's work of restoration is complete. Until then, you live between promise and fulfillment. You still experience pain, but pain no longer gets the final word. Hope does. Every sunrise reminds you that God keeps moving history toward redemption. Every step of faith becomes a declaration that you believe restoration is coming because the Restorer has already begun His work.

Application Question:
Where have you begun to settle for "this is just how life is" instead of holding onto God's promise of restoration?
