3.2 - The Curtain Was Never the Point

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 9:1-15

Reflection:
Imagine walking into the tabernacle and stopping at the veil. Every worshiper knew the message. You can come this far, but no farther. That curtain wasn’t there because God enjoyed keeping people away. It stood as a reminder that sin separated humanity from His holy presence. Yet even that barrier was pointing toward something greater. Every sacrifice, every priest, every drop of blood whispered the same promise: Someone is coming. Jesus didn’t arrive to discard God’s plan. He came to fulfill it completely. When He offered Himself on the cross, the old system reached its destination. The veil had served its purpose because the true High Priest had arrived. Today, remember that God’s story has always been moving toward reconciliation. From Genesis to the cross, His desire has been to restore relationship with His people. The invitation wasn’t created at Calvary. It was completed there through Christ alone for everyone.
