6.2 - Find your place in the Story

Scripture Reading: Genesis 12:1-9

Reflection:

It is easy to approach the Bible like an owner’s manual. Something goes wrong, so you search for the right page, verse, or answer to fix it. But Scripture offers you something bigger. It tells a story. It begins with a good creation, shows what sin has broken, follows God’s rescue through Israel, reaches its center in Jesus, and continues through His people. That means your life is not a disconnected collection of problems to solve. Your life belongs inside a story God has been writing from the beginning. When you forget that, today’s disappointment can feel like the whole story. It isn’t. Your failure is not the whole story. Your success isn’t either. Scripture keeps pulling your eyes outward, reminding you where you came from, what has gone wrong, what God is doing about it, and where everything is headed. You have been invited to find your place there.
